CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

FITNESS YOGA – Mixed Level

This yoga class encompasses all areas of yoga.  It is not a class to create the perfect posture, but a class to work within your body’s own limits and capabilities.  Students will gain the benefits of each posture but the class goal is to flow and create calm and relaxation.  Hopefully, you will leave feeling re-energised, stretched and in time stronger. The exercises are all designed to help optimal musculoskeletal performance – strength, flexibility and endurance – without risking injury or bulk.  With a focus on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilisation, neutral alignment and breathing, this method of exercise also helps to restore the natural curves of the spine, relieve tension and enhance self-confidence.
