STOTT PILATES mind-body exercise builds on the essence and principles of Joseph Pilates’ work by incorporating modern knowledge about the body.  The repertoire of exercises consists of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level workouts.  It is recommended that you do not progress to the next level until you have fully mastered the previous level.

The exercises are all designed to help optimal musculoskeletal performance – strength, flexibility and endurance – without risking injury or bulk.  With a focus on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilisation, neutral alignment and breathing, this method of exercise also helps to restore the natural curves of the spine, relieve tension and enhance self confidence. THE RESULT:  A balanced and aligned body that looks fit, feels revitalised, and moves with ease.

Equipment: Fitness Mats Provided
Clothing: Comfortable fitness clothing
Footwear: Bare feet

Please bring a sealed water bottle and sweat towel if required.

Age 12+ to Adults

PiYo

PiYo isn’t like standard Pilates and yoga classes that make you hold long, intense poses, or lead you through dozens of repetitive, microscopic core movements. PiYo speeds everything up—including your results—by introducing you to dynamic, flowing sequences that can burn serious calories at the same time as they lengthen and tone your muscles and increase your flexibility.

With every action-packed PiYo session, you can burn excess fat and sculpt and define your whole body, as you minimise the aches and pains that can come along with high-impact workouts. No matter your age, no matter your body type, PiYo will help give you dramatically visible, incredibly beautiful results.

Fitness Yoga

This yoga class encompasses all areas of yoga.  It is not a class to create the perfect posture but a class to work within your body’s own limits and capabilities.  Students will gain the benefits of each posture but the class goal is to flow and create calm and relaxation.  Hopefully you will leave feeling re-energised, stretched and in time stronger.
