STRONG by Zumba®

Push your limits!

Stop counting the reps. Start training to the beat. STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

In each class you’ll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG by Zumba® instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max. Beginners Welcome.

Clothing: Comfortable fitness clothing
Footwear: Clean/light colour soled trainers

Fitness Pilates

Fitness Pilates is a group exercise class that applies the fundamental Pilates technique and exercises. Fitness Pilates aims to offset musculoskeletal imbalances, improve posture, movement quality, mobility, flexibility,  mental cognition, core strength, form and function in a non-intimidating, highly accessible and enjoyable way. The aim of Fitness Pilates is to identify basic postural and movement imbalances and through Pilates-based exercises and breath, to increase muscular balance and strength, improve posture and core strength. Beginners Welcome.

Flowetic

Flowetic is a beautiful class combining dance, toning and strengthening exercises alongside stretching and relaxation. It will provide fitness and well-being for the body and mind, suitable for all levels of fitness and dance experience. Beginners Welcome.

Pilates

STOTT PILATES mind-body exercise builds on the essence and principles of Joseph Pilates’ work by incorporating modern knowledge about the body. The repertoire of exercises consists of Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level workouts. It is recommended that you do not progress to the next level until you have fully mastered the previous level.

The exercises are all designed to help optimal musculoskeletal performance – strength, flexibility and endurance – without risking injury or bulk. With a focus on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilisation, neutral alignment and breathing, this method of exercise also helps to restore the natural curves of the spine, relieve tension and enhance self confidence. THE RESULT: A balanced and aligned body that looks fit, feels revitalised, and moves with ease. Beginners Welcome.

Fitness Yoga

This yoga class encompasses all areas of yoga.  It is not a class to create the perfect posture but a class to work within your body’s own limits and capabilities.  Students will gain the benefits of each posture but the class goal is to flow and create calm and relaxation.  Hopefully, you will leave feeling re-energised, stretched and in time stronger. Beginners Welcome.

PiYo

PiYo isn’t like standard Pilates and yoga classes that make you hold long, intense poses, or lead you through dozens of repetitive, microscopic core movements.
